Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 17, 2026
Spearfactor Spear Fishing LLC ("SpearFactor," "we," "us," or "our") operates spearfactor.com and its subdomains — including our dive-conditions and trip-optimizer tools (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly:
-
Contact form: first name, last name, email address, and the contents of your message.
-
Account / login: if you create a member account, we collect your name, email, and password (stored encrypted by our platform provider, Wix).
-
Course enrollment: if you enroll in a course, we collect the information needed to deliver it, and payment details are collected and processed by our payment processor (not stored by us).
-
Trip Optimizer "share trip" feature: if you email yourself a trip recap, we collect your email address and, if you check the opt-in box, add you to our email list for occasional SpearFactor updates. These emails are delivered through our email provider, Resend.
Information collected automatically:
-
IP address, device type, browser, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and time on site.
-
Cookies and similar technologies used by our hosting platform (Wix) and analytics providers (including Google Analytics) to remember you and measure Site usage.
Information from third parties:
-
If you interact with our social profiles (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) or click embedded content, those platforms may share limited data with us in accordance with their own policies.

We do not sell your personal information.
3. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and analyze traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect Site functionality. Where required by law, we display a cookie banner and honor your choices.
